Abstract
The project aims to contribute to advancing energy sovereignty for communities through shared self-consumption facilities in rural areas, with tools that maximize the facilities' efficiency. It also contributes to mitigating climate change and revitalizing the agricultural sector through the use of more efficient and innovative technologies.
Description
Pilot projects are being developed in the three cheese factories to test tools tailored to each of them and to automate energy consumption, maximizing the self-consumption rate and, therefore, the profitability of the photovoltaic solar energy generation facilities in each of them.
Objectives
The project seeks to reduce emissions from various Basque farms in the cheesemaking process.
