- Type Project
- Scope Autonómico
- Autonomous community Murcia, Región de
- Main source of financing NextGenerationEU
- Project website Web del Proyecto
Description
The project proposes a system for analyzing social networks and digital media as social sensors for the agri-food sector, allowing the detection of alerts, opportunities and trends in real time, providing strategic value and anticipation of possible risks or changes.
Contextual description
Public information in the agri-food sector relies on the dispersion of data across digital media. The challenge is to develop an AI-powered data collection and visualization system to transform fragmented news into actionable knowledge for strategic decision-making.
Results
Structured Knowledge System: A categorization system that segments global news by key variables such as product, geographic region, or reported impact. This constantly updated database facilitates the identification of behavioral patterns and potential business risks. Dashboard: A platform (prototype) that allows for querying and analysis. Analysis includes impact, news temperature, entities involved, events that occurred, geospatial maps of involvement, and more. Technologies include web scraping, named entity recognition, and sentiment analysis using NLP and LLM.
