Description
The project aims to promote the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the agri-food sector by calculating the carbon footprint and improving its competitiveness through the use of eco-labels. To do so, it carries out different actions: -Survey of producers and associations on the carbon footprint and eco-labeling. -Analysis of methodologies for inventory and calculation of the carbon footprint of organisations and products. -Review of projects carried out in Spain regarding the carbon footprint inventory of agricultural holdings. -Review of consumer expectations regarding agri-food products and their response to different types of labelling. -Qualitative analysis of opinion through focus groups with real consumers. -Information sessions in each province of action on the carbon footprint and eco-labels. -Contact with other operational groups and other actions to disseminate the project.
