Description

The 'Social Footprint' project of the Operational Group will allow any producer or marketer in the Region of Murcia, through an innovative cloud-based computer system, to connect directly with the end consumer and open a two-way channel that, on the one hand, offers valuable information to the consumer about the characteristics of the product, production system, traceability, etc., and on the other hand, allows the producer to obtain information about consumer tastes, which, once processed and studied, will offer relevant data that will allow them to make better decisions about their productions.

Results

The operational group's goal with this tool demonstration is for agri-food producers using the platform to obtain data on consumer tastes and preferences. This will facilitate their market positioning thanks to brand recognition and end-consumer loyalty. At the same time, customers will receive more information about the products they consume, where they are grown, their nutritional content, etc. This will result in: a) Increased knowledge of consumer preferences and tastes. b) Increased brand recognition. c) Customer loyalty and acquisition. d) Increased sales. e) Improve company systems at all levels with information obtained from surveys focused on customer satisfaction.
