  • Type Grupo operativo
  • Execution 2017
  • Assigned Budget 5.000,00 €
  • Scope Autonómico

Description

Short marketing channels are proliferating, in which sales are made either directly or through a single intermediary.

In these cases, there is a problem with the traceability of the products that are put into circulation, since the existing food quality traceability systems provide information on the origin of the products, but they do not adapt to marketing mechanisms such as direct sales or short marketing channels.

Objectives
  • General objective of the Operational Group: Design a traceability system adapted to the specificities of short marketing channels.
  • Specific objectives: To investigate whether there are traceability systems designed for short food marketing channels in other EU countries, identifying their main characteristics, to explore the social map of actors involved in the development of short food marketing channels in Andalusia, as well as the typology of short channels that are being developed, to share and agree on the common basic principles that govern the short food marketing channels that are being developed in Andalusia, to design and develop a participatory process for the design of a traceability system adapted to the reality of short food marketing channels in Andalusia, to test and validate the designed traceability system.
