Description

DCOOP, the first Andalusian animal feed cooperative, aims to increase the competitiveness of agri-food companies through innovation. Its main lines of research are: primary production, product improvement and process development and application of non-destructive sensors in the food chain. Cooperativas Agro-Alimentarias de Andalucía brings together almost all of the agro-industrial cooperatives in Andalusia. Its objectives include working to help cooperatives grow, become larger and be able to position their quality products on the market. It is a clearly balanced and complementary Consortium, supported by the experience of the partners in their field of action and the scope of the projects previously executed by each of them.

Objectives

The objective of the Operational Group is to develop goat dairy products, such as ice creams and liquid yoghurts of high microbiological and nutritional quality, through integrated actions throughout the food chain. Given the importance of the goat sector in Andalusia, productivity must be increased, improving the quality of the milk with respect to its nutritional elements or flavour, transforming it into other products or increasing its added value.
