PROMINIFUN Operational Group: Innovative management models for improving productivity in smallholding areas

• Analysis of the ownership structure and its productive potential for different types of crops.
• Management proposals. Economic impact assessment.
• Policy development proposals to facilitate access to management of abandoned areas and unknown ownership.

The Prominifun Government aims to increase the level of management in non-timber land use, strengthen public-private collaboration, and help systematize the evaluation of minimum farm sizes for profitable use. It will also provide proposals for advancing the adaptation of current tax and labor regulations to favor wealth generation in rural forestry. The project also aims to facilitate access to ownership documents and promote the socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable management of areas affected by smallholdings, implementing available and recently developed tools through innovative development, primarily at the legislative level.
