The SmartFarmRani Operational Group training session , held on September 5, 2025, within the framework of Salamaq 2025, entitled "Technology at the service of extensive and sustainable livestock farming, the Avileña Negra Ibérica breed as a model: SmartFarmRani" , is now available to view on YouTube.
The meeting, which took place in the Auditorium of the Central Pavilion and was broadcast via streaming, included presentations on feeding, health control, reproduction, productive efficiency and generational change in the Avileña-Negra Ibérica breed, with the participation of experts from the UPM, Grupo Zootecnia, Insavet, CSIC-INIA and Ganadería Mayo Sanchidrián .
The event, funded by the Salamanca Provincial Council , is part of the outreach and training activities promoted by the SmartFarmRani GO to boost technological innovation in extensive and sustainable livestock farming .
