The Galician Network of Quantum Technologies has launched a survey aimed at companies in the agri-food sector to identify their needs, barriers, and opportunities related to quantum computing. This initiative is part of the network's commitment to promoting Galicia's leadership in the field of quantum technologies.

The initiative is supported by DATAlife , the digital innovation hub specializing in biotechnology, food, health, and the environment, which is actively participating in the development of a report on the applications of quantum computing in food. The participation of companies is key to ensuring that the study reflects a representative vision and connects with the real needs of the Galician business community.

The Galician Network of Quantum Technologies is made up of the Xunta de Galicia, the three universities of the Galician University System (SUG), CESGA, the Galicia ICT Cluster, Gradiant, the Fujitsu International Quantum Center, the Center for Photonic Technologies (Aephos) and the two Galician digital innovation hubs: DATAlife and DIHGIGAL.

The network encourages all interested companies in the agri-food sector to complete the available application form , thus helping to shape the future of quantum computing applied to one of Galicia's strategic sectors.
