FAFCYLE will have its own space in Tent B, stand B27 , where it will share activities and content with the ASFOSE association, with the aim of bringing the public closer to the reality of forest owners and highlighting the essential role of foresters in land conservation.

Featured Activities

  • Thursday 19th, 12:00 pm – Workshop “A Day in the Forest”
An activity aimed at children between 6 and 12 years old, in which they will discover how forest ecosystems work and why they are so important. Through participatory activities, children will learn to "build a multifunctional forest," protect biodiversity, prevent fires, and maintain healthy soils and rivers. The workshop is part of the NaturSmart project , in which FAFCYLE is a partner.
  • Saturday 20th, 10:30 a.m. – Lecture “And Whose Forest Is This? Invisible Owners, Mountains at Risk”
Given by Olga González Raposo , forestry engineer and manager of FAFCYLE. In Castilla y León, there are more than 700,000 private forest owners , who manage approximately half of the community's forest area. The fragmentation of ownership hampers fire prevention and sustainable forest management. This presentation will address the key role of forest owners in conservation, the generation of value in rural areas, and new models of group management to guarantee the future of forests.

A space for meeting and awareness

FAFCYLE's presence at Naturcyl 2025 represents a unique opportunity to highlight private forest owners , key players in sustainable land management and the fight against climate change.
