The Expoagritech 2025 trade fair has announced the 2025 Farmer Vest Awards , a series of awards created to highlight the leadership and vision of farmers who are transforming their farms through innovation, sustainability, and technology, thereby achieving more efficient and profitable management with a greater positive impact on the agri-food sector.
The objective of these awards is to celebrate the efforts and commitment of pioneering farmers , granting them recognition that boosts their prestige and visibility both regionally and nationally.
Award categories
The 2025 Farmer Vest Awards are divided into three main categories:
Innovation in crops and inputs
- Farmers who are incorporating new crop varieties, species adapted to climate change, or innovative agricultural inputs—such as products derived from insect larvae or algae—that improve productivity and quality and open up new markets will be recognized.
Sustainability
- Aimed at farms that develop environmentally friendly agricultural practices, promoting efficient resource use, emissions reduction, soil health, and the circular economy. It includes experiences in agroecology and regenerative agriculture, as well as actions to reduce phytosanitary residues and crop waste.
Application of technology
- This category will recognize farmers who integrate advanced technologies and Agriculture 4.0 solutions into their processes, such as sensors, IoT, robotic automation, drones, artificial intelligence, data spaces, or connectivity systems, with the goal of improving efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
How to participate
Farmers interested in applying for the awards can now submit their applications through the registration form opened by the organizers until October 12.
