The “Digital Spain Agenda 2026” promotes 5G technology in municipalities with less than 1,000 inhabitants
The Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) states in its component 15 that one of the main obstacles in the installation of 5G in the territories is the lack of knowledge or partial knowledge of the legal framework that covers network deployments, the required documentation and deadlines and response times.
This situation occurs more frequently in smaller municipalities or those that do not have sufficient administrative support.
This is why - within the framework of the Strategy to promote 5G Technology - the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure (SETELECO) has established 5G training in rural locations as an objective for 2022, all in the scope of the PRTR.
