A technical workshop on health surveillance in the Galician cattle ADSG will be held in Fonsagrada.

On September 25, 2025 , the assembly hall of the Council of A Fonsagrada will host a technical conference on health surveillance in the ADSG of Galician beef , organized by the CIAM-AGACAL with the collaboration of the General Subdirectorate of Livestock and the ADSG Fonsega .
The session, which will begin at 4:00 p.m. , is aimed at professionals in the sector and has the financial support of the EAFRD , the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Xunta de Galicia .
Interested parties can submit their pre-applications through the Xunta de Galicia's FOAGRO platform .
Main contents of the day
The program will include presentations and discussion sessions on highly topical issues in animal health:
- Antibiotic resistance and responsible use of veterinary antibiotics.
- Lumpy skin disease.
- Mosquito-borne diseases.
- CIAM projects related to cattle.
In addition, a coffee break will be offered and a final roundtable discussion with industry experts will be held, fostering the exchange of experiences and the analysis of common challenges.
