Description

Spain cultivates 32,000 hectares of lettuce, with Murcia leading the way, accounting for almost half of the national production. Other growing crops in the region include celery, spinach, and escarole.

The leafy and brassica sector faces challenges such as improving production efficiency and sustainability, strengthening pest resistance, and optimizing post-harvest shelf life. The Region of Murcia is a leader in innovation in this field, developing new materials and advanced techniques.

For this reason, Grupo Interempresas is organizing a conference in Murcia to bring together all the key players in the sector and analyze its evolution, challenges, and business opportunities.
