The EU FarmBook platform, in collaboration with CEJA (European Council of Young Farmers) , invites you to participate in its upcoming online workshop entitled “Farmers as guardians of water resources” , which will be held on April 14, 2025 , via the Zoom platform.

This event will focus on the key role young farmers play in sustainable water management. It will provide a forum for exchange between researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals, and will address the challenges, opportunities, and future needs surrounding responsible water use in agriculture.

The workshop will feature:

  • Interventions by experts from DG Environment , Teagasc and the AQUAGRI-KNOW project
  • Real testimonials from young farmers across Europe
  • Discussions on knowledge gaps, the involvement of the agricultural sector, and future water needs
  • A final block dedicated to imagining water resilience in 2050

This meeting is part of the efforts to disseminate the results and best practices of EU-funded projects, with the aim of promoting knowledge transfer and strengthening the mission of the EU FarmBook platform.
