COAG Castilla y León is organizing the conference “Stimulating generational change. Incorporation of young people and women into agricultural activity. Proposals of the MFF 2028/2034, CAP and trade agreements” on Friday, February 27, 2026 in Valladolid , an in-person meeting focused on the challenges that will mark the competitiveness and continuity of family farms in the coming years.
The session, which will take place between 11:00 and 15:00, is part of the knowledge exchange intervention and training and information activities of the CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027, reinforcing the role of the AKIS ecosystem through debate and knowledge transfer on digitalization, European policies and markets.

A space to anticipate changes in the sector
The conference will address, from a practical perspective, three key issues that are already influencing decision-making in the agricultural sector: digitalization as a lever for efficiency and management, the debate on the upcoming Multiannual Financial Framework 2028/2034 and the future CAP , and the impact of trade agreements on the viability of family farming and generational renewal.
