ClieNFarms Final Conference: A Journey Towards Climate-Neutral Farms
Description
The ClieNFarms Hybrid Final Conference will take place on November 20, 2025, online and at the NH Brussels EU Berlaymont Hotel (Brussels, Belgium).
The ClieNFarms Hybrid Final Conference will be a key milestone in showcasing the project's main results and fostering dialogue on the future of sustainable agriculture in Europe.
The event will bring together farmers, advisors, researchers, policymakers and stakeholders from the agri-food sector to reflect on lessons learned and explore concrete pathways towards climate-neutral and climate-resilient agriculture.
The program combines keynote speeches and panel discussions, offering participants the opportunity to interact with experts and professionals and exchange knowledge across sectors. At the heart of the conference are the results of ClieNFarms, developed and tested in collaboration with farmers and other stakeholders across Europe, and now ready to drive action at multiple levels.
The discussions will be guided by four thematic sessions:
- Smarter agriculture for climate neutrality: presenting climate assessments of farms, a catalogue of climate solutions and proven carbon action plans.
- Scaling up climate action in agricultural systems by sharing lessons from food companies, financial agents, and business models.
- Promote knowledge for climate-smart agriculture, highlighting models and tools for monitoring practices and assessing impacts.
- Challenges in modeling GHG emissions in European farms: exploring limitations, opportunities and policy measures in light of the upcoming EU Carbon Removal Certification Framework.
By connecting science, practice and policy, the conference will create a unique opportunity to exchange perspectives, learn from real experiences and help shape the future of climate-smart agriculture in Europe.
