The Cajamar Foundation and AEEA are organizing a conference on sustainability and profitability in the agri-food sector.

The Cajamar Foundation , in collaboration with the Spanish Association of Agricultural Economics (AEEA) , will hold a key event within the framework of the 15th Congress of Agricultural Economics , which will take place in Granada . The meeting will bring together academic experts and representatives of agri-food companies to analyze one of the major future challenges facing the sector: the relationship between sustainability and profitability .

Throughout the day, presentations, debates, and practical experiences will be held to address key questions such as:

• What does the scientific evidence say about the compatibility between sustainability and profitability?
• Does research match business reality?
• What factors generate synergies or conflicts between both objectives?

The purpose of this initiative is to advance applied and useful knowledge , enabling researchers, professionals, and businesses to identify best practices, innovative solutions, and improvement strategies to address current challenges in the agri-food sector.

In addition, the event will be available to stream via Plataforma Tierra , so those interested who cannot travel to Granada will have the opportunity to participate virtually.
