Webinar "Predictive Models in Viticulture: AI Applied to Diseases, Production, and Quality"

The Spanish Wine Federation ( FEV ) and its digitalization working group, the Digitalization and Wine Hub , are organizing a new training webinar entitled "Predictive Models in Viticulture: AI Applied to Diseases, Production, and Quality" on May 6, 2025.

During the session, you'll learn how predictive models and artificial intelligence can transform vineyard management by predicting production, improving quality, and anticipating risks.
• Disease and risk prediction: Identify the presence and severity of diseases in the vineyard ten days in advance and minimize their impact with data-driven preventative strategies and the appropriate amount of pesticides.
• Vineyard production prediction: Know two months in advance how many kilos per hectare your plots will produce and act accordingly.
• Reduction of costs and inputs: Improves the efficiency of resource use such as phytosanitary products, water, and fertilizers through models that indicate when and where to intervene.
• Optimization of quality variables: Adjust timing and resources to the needs of your vineyard. Know in advance the best times to harvest or perform work on the vine, depending on your preferences, acidity, sugars, and more.
• Data-driven decision-making: Turn the information obtained into concrete actions for more efficient and profitable vineyard management.

The objective of these webinars is to demonstrate how technology and its various practical applications can help solve various problems or improve winery results. These webinars are online, free, and open to any interested winery. Registration is required.
