To all those people who use biocides authorized for use by professional (non-specialized) personnel in the livestock sector in their work environment.
Royal Decree 830/2010, in Article 2.f, defines biocides for use by professional personnel as products authorized for this use in the official biocides register, for use in the workplace. Personnel applying these products have some knowledge and skills in handling chemicals and are capable of correctly using personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
Goals:
To provide students with the basic knowledge to identify biocides they are authorized to use, as well as the handling of chemical products and the correct use of the necessary protective equipment for their application. Special emphasis is placed on biocidal products used by professional personnel for cleaning and disinfection in the livestock sector.
