Training for personnel working with pigs - RD 3006/2020 (Evaluation)

The objective of this course is to acquire the minimum knowledge required by RD 306/2020 and by EU implementing decision 2017/302 in order to be qualified to work on intensive pig farms.

Goals:

• Gain an overview of the characteristics of pig production.
• Learn basic farm management in the different production phases.
• Learn the control and content of the records and mandatory documentation in all phases of the process
• Acquire basic knowledge of animal health, hygiene and biosecurity to ensure the required levels of these areas at work.
• Learn and practice processes and procedures that ensure proper environmental management, sustainability, minimize the impact on the environment and help in the fight against climate change.
