Description

Next Friday , February 16th, from 09:00 to 14:00 at AINIAL, a free demonstration workshop entitled “Sustainable resource management in microalgae production” will be held.

This workshop is part of a knowledge transfer project promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, focused on understanding microalgae production using water recirculation systems that optimize water use. Participants will learn about the microalgae cultivation process and the benefits of implementing water recirculation systems in the agro-industrial context.

The program includes:

  • Introduction to the sustainable production of microalgae and their applications in the agro-industrial sector.
  • Presentation of water recirculation systems and their importance in water sustainability.
  • Practical demonstration of the microalgae cultivation process using recirculation systems.
  • Analysis of case studies and best practices in efficient water management.
  • Open discussion on the adoption of water efficiency practices in agricultural and agro-industrial operations.

Importantly, given its practical nature, it is necessary to bring a laptop computer.
