Seeds, biodiversity and climate change: Strategies for resilience and sustainability

On July 15th, the training session "Seeds, Biodiversity, and Climate Change: Strategies for Resilience and Sustainability" (2nd Edition) will take place , organized by the Spanish Society of Organic Agriculture and Agroecology (SEAE). This event will take place in Amorebieta ( Bizkaia).
This conference focuses on the main regulatory and technical aspects governing the production, marketing, exchange, and use of plant reproductive material in organic farming. It will address aspects such as the importance and availability of exploitable genetic biodiversity in the region to improve resilience to climate change and strategies for maximizing its use.
SEAE (the Spanish Society of Organic Agriculture and Agroecology) has organized this conference within the framework of the project on "Strategies for adaptation to climate change through organic production and agroecology" ( AGROFORM ).
This program is funded within the framework of the CAP Strategic Plan, co-financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) at 57% and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) at 43%.
