Online course on Digitizing meteorological data and detecting pests

The first edition of the online course "Digitizing Meteorological Data and Pest Detection" will be held on July 16, 17, and 18, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., taught by iRiego and Vexiza.

This specialized 18-hour training is aimed at agricultural professionals interested in using digital technologies to improve irrigation management and early detection of pests and diseases.

Main objectives of the course:

• Understand the relevance of meteorological data for efficient agricultural management.
• Learn techniques for digitizing and analyzing climate data.
• Learn advanced methods for predicting and monitoring pests using meteorological information.
• Manage specific digital tools to monitor environmental and health conditions in crops.

Training structure:

• Module 1: Introduction to the digitalization of meteorological data.
• Module 2: Digitization of meteorological data applied to irrigation decisions.
• Module 3: Pest prediction from digitalized climate data.
• Module 4: Practical use of digital tools to integrate meteorological data and pest monitoring.
