A unique course on advanced integrated resource management strategies within the framework of the GoNexus project. Online mode open until January 13, 2025.

The GoNexus Winter School invites professionals and advanced students to delve deeper into WEFE ( Water-Food-Energy-Ecosystems) nexus modeling as a basis for sustainable development. Combining theory and practice, this course seeks to train participants in innovative tools and methodologies to address cross-sectoral challenges in resource management.

What does the GoNexus Winter School offer?

The program is structured into six interactive modules, from an introduction to the GoNexus framework to analysis of evidence-based solutions and decision-making. Participants will learn how to assess the WEFE nexus at different scales—global, continental, and river basin—and explore the importance of incorporating stakeholder perspectives to achieve sustainable management.

The School combines theoretical sessions with applied practice, encouraging collaborative learning and the exchange of ideas. The final assessment is carried out through a multiple-choice test, ensuring the understanding of key concepts.

Who can participate?

It is aimed at advanced students and professionals in environmental sciences, agriculture, natural resource management and related fields, interested in sustainable development and integrated resource management.
