Generation and validation of GML in Cadastre: GIS-CAD integration
Description
The Official College of Agricultural Technical Engineers of Western Andalusia (COITAND), in collaboration with the Pablo de Olavide University, is launching the online course "Generation and validation of GML in Cadastre: GIS-CAD integration" , which will be held from May 19 to June 27, 2025 , with a total duration of 60 hours and 8 ECTS credits .
Aimed at professionals in the fields of agriculture, topography, forestry and land use planning, the main objective of this course is to provide training in the creation of Alternative Graphic Representations (RGA) and in the generation of standardized GML vector files for cadastral parcels .
Throughout the program, participants will acquire practical skills to:
- Manipulate and edit graphical database files.
- Validate geometries on the Cadastre's electronic headquarters and the Registrars' Geoportal.
- Access and use complementary cartographic sources such as PNOA orthophotos and CNIG cartography.
