Fruit Tree Pruning and Grafting Course
Description
This training course is aimed primarily at young people in the process of taking on the responsibilities of an agricultural company, who have been granted or are in the process of being granted a subsidy, to facilitate their incorporation into the agricultural sector, specifically, applicants for subsidies intended to support the creation of companies by "young farmers". In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 2 December 2021 establishing rules for support for strategic plans to be drawn up by Member States under the common agricultural policy (CAP strategic plans), financed from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), establishes the general parameters to guide the preparation, evaluation and approval of the Strategic Plans of the Common Agricultural Policy for the programming period 2023-2027, Spain is preparing its own PEPAC 2023-2027 in which the interventions or measures with which it is intended to achieve the objectives of the CAP are indicated.
GOALS:
- To assess the importance of this practice for the final and productive value of a fruit farm. · To make participants aware of the physiology and morphology of fruit trees. · To analyse and discover the different pruning techniques.
Learn to use different tools, depending on the tree used and the age of the plant, with the appropriate safety measures.
CERTIFICATE:
Participants will be given a certificate of attendance or achievement if they meet the following requirements: A certificate of attendance will be issued to students who attend at least 80% of the course timetable. An absence of more than 20% of the scheduled class hours, whatever the cause, will make it impossible to issue a certificate of attendance. A certificate of achievement will be issued to students who successfully pass the test and have attended at least 80% of the course hours. Students who choose to obtain a certificate of achievement will be given a knowledge test.
