Free Software Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing

The objectives of the course include:

• Know how to define a GIS project in its compartments (objectives, analysis, storage, products…).

• Interpret, characterize, and map the agricultural environment; interpret digital images and develop algorithms.

• Know the components of a System (digitalization, image processing, cartographic representation, statistical analysis, decisions…).

• Know how to edit output maps, graphic editing, and template creation, as well as their presentation.
