Free online seminar “Fertilization plans in extensive crops”
Description
The correct development of a fertilization plan is increasingly crucial for optimizing costs, improving nutrient use efficiency, and complying with the requirements of sustainable agricultural soil nutrition regulations . In this context, aGROSlab is organizing the online seminar “Fertilization Plans in Extensive Crops: From Method to Implementation,” a practical session focused on how to move from a methodological approach to developing a “ready-to-use” plan with traceability and supporting documentation.
The event will be held on March 20, 2026 , in an online and free format, from 09:00 to 10:00 h .
Seminar focus
The session will address, in a practical way, the preparation of fertilization plans for extensive crops (with examples focused on winter cereals and maize ), integrating agronomic criteria and the main regulatory obligations: what the plan should include, how to justify it, how to maintain its traceability, and how to adapt the planning to conditions such as Nitrate Vulnerable Zones . (Royal Decree 1051/2022 establishes, among other aspects, minimum requirements for the plan and the minimum information to be included in the logbook regarding fertilization).
In addition, the "step-by-step" workflow within aGROSlab for structuring and generating the Subscriber Plan will be shown: creation of subscriber groups , estimation of needs, incorporation of indirect contributions, simulation of scenarios and generation of the final document ready to share or archive.
Who is it for?
The seminar is specifically designed for farmers and their representative organizations (cooperatives, agricultural cooperatives, etc.) seeking a clear and applicable method for planning fertilization safely and with proper documentation. Its content is also of interest to technicians and advisors who support farms and need to standardize criteria and record-keeping.
