Free course "Smart Farm": Improve agricultural efficiency with IoT and LoRaWAN
Description
The course "Smart Farm: Productivity and Efficiency in Agriculture and Livestock Farming" kicks off on November 7th. This free training program is organized by EDIH DATAlife in collaboration with AGACA (Galician Association of Agri-Food Cooperatives).
The program will take place on November 7, 14, and 21, with an initial in-person session at AGACA's facilities in Santiago de Compostela and two subsequent sessions in a hybrid format (in-person or online).
This initiative aims to bring IoT (Internet of Things) technology and LoRa/LoRaWAN connectivity closer to the agricultural sector, demonstrating their potential to improve productivity, energy efficiency, and animal welfare.
IoT sensors enable real-time data collection on livestock health and behavior, as well as environmental conditions, helping professionals make informed decisions and optimize farm management.
