Description
iRiego New Generation is organizing a course entitled "Digitizing Plot and Facility Data with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)," aimed at agricultural professionals interested in applying digital tools to optimize the management of their farms.
The training, which will be free and in-person , will be held on July 1, 2, 3 and 4 , from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. , at the headquarters of the Páramo Medio Irrigation Community (Bercianos del Páramo, León).
The course content will include:
- The use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the digitization and management of plots and facilities.
- The digitalization and maintenance of irrigation facilities.
- Techniques to digitize different irrigation systems such as buried coverage and pivot .
- A practical visit to observe the digitalization of irrigation systems on-site.
Those enrolled will receive teaching materials on the course content.
