Demonstration course on digitalization of irrigation plots
Description
iRiego New Generation SL is organizing a 16-hour in-person course with six modules on the application of new irrigation technologies on August 25 and 26.
PROGRAM
Day 1. Monday, August 25 .
9 hours: Module 1. Study of alternatives in the digitalization of irrigation plots:
- - Definition of the criteria and specific specifications of the irrigation plot.
- - Data analysis, using Big Data to select the most suitable alternative for each plot and owner.
- - Economic and feasibility study.
- - Importance of construction management in digitized plots.
10 hours: Module 2. Importance of incorporating irrigation sensors and automation in irrigation plots:
- - Types and advantages of sensors and automation in digitalized irrigation plots.
- - Sensors as a fundamental basis for data collection.
- - Types of irrigation programmers.
- - Maintenance and calibration of sensors and automation systems
11 hours: Module 3. Decision-making based on real-time data analysis:
- - Types of data to be analyzed in digitalized irrigation.
- - Real-time data interpretation.
- - Case studies to increase water efficiency, minimize losses, and increase the profitability of irrigated crops.
- - Tools and software for irrigation analysis. Irrigation apps as a basis for data analysis and visualization.
- - Continuous feedback, Artificial Intelligence as an irrigation tool.
13 hours. Module 4. Digitalized irrigation plot using buried cover:
- - Choosing the irrigation framework for digitalized buried coverage.
- - Study of flow rates and pressures to ensure efficient and profitable irrigation.
- - The importance of materials and qualities.
- - Common problems detected by poorly designed or executed underground cover installations.
- - Mobile applications for buried coverage
- - Installations on a pressurized test bench of the most common sensors and automation systems in digitalized buried coverage.
3 p.m. Networking lunch
16 hours . Module 5. Digitalized irrigation plot using an irrigation pivot:
- - Selection of the type of digitalized irrigation pivot.
- - Study of flow rates and pressures to ensure efficient and profitable irrigation.
- - The importance of materials and qualities.
- - Common problems detected by poorly designed or executed pivot irrigation installations.
- - Mobile applications for irrigation pivots.
Day 2. Tuesday, August 26.
9 hours. Module 6. Demonstration visit to digital irrigation plots:
It will be carried out in a completely practical day where two irrigation plots will be visited where demonstrations of all the points covered in the previous day will be possible.
- Fully digitalized irrigation plot furnished with integrated coverage.
- Fully digitalized irrigated plot furnished with an irrigation pivot.
