Course on Remote Sensing Applied to Counseling
Description
The use of satellite imagery and remote sensing tools is a key strategy for improving crop management and agricultural land analysis. This course offers a practical introduction to remote sensing, providing the essential knowledge to interpret satellite images and extract information relevant to agricultural activities.
This expanded edition will cover various practical examples using freely accessible tools, allowing participants to apply the concepts learned in their daily work.
Course objectives
- Understand the basic principles of remote sensing and its application in agriculture.
- Learn to interpret satellite images and extract useful information about crops and the agricultural environment.
- Become familiar with freely available tools for image analysis.
- Apply remote sensing techniques to monitor crops and track changes in agricultural land.
Methodology
- Modality: Online via videoconference.
- Certification: A minimum attendance of 85% and passing a final assessment are required.
- Follow-up: Attendance is verified by registering with first and last name during the live connection.
