Start date: 10/06/2025
Ending date: 26/06/2025
Modality: Online

Description

Description

The Official College of Agricultural Engineers of Central and Canary Islands is organizing this online course on topography and cadastre, which will be taught in the afternoon on June 10, 17, and 26.

In this course, students will learn the methodology for generating GML files for the coordination of the Cadastre and Property Registry, as well as for taking field topographic measurements related to property boundary issues.

The Cadastre will also be presented as a data source, as well as its implementation on the Internet. Coordination between the Cadastre and the Property Registry will be addressed, with special emphasis on alternative graphical representation and the corresponding creation of GML files.

Both a practical overview of the cartographic management office and field experience will be provided, the latter through an online demo demonstrating the operation of a low-cost topographic data collection tool.
