The project, located in the Region of Murcia and Andalusia, aims to provide entrepreneurs with innovative tools so that, through their entrepreneurial initiative, they are empowered to create self-employment and thus be able to address and solve various environmental problems in the green sectors in which they work. The project is aimed at entrepreneurs and will prioritize women, young people up to 35 years old, people over 45 years old, immigrants, people with disabilities, and residents of protected areas and/or rural areas.
The eleven-month project encompasses various activities. It will apply the Emprendeverde Labs methodology, enriched with content on new economies, and will be complemented by a social innovation initiative, participation in the NESI Global Forum 2021.
Lab Emprende Nesi will consist of a blended learning experience on business model creation. Various dynamics will be used, including individual and group counseling, to develop participants' ideas.
The project's goal is to train both employed and unemployed people in the New Economies and social innovation to drive change in the business community and advance toward a greener and more sustainable economy.
