LYRA Biodiversity Foundation Project: Green Industrial Future

As part of the Ministry of Ecological Transition's Green Employment Program through the Biodiversity Foundation, Itecam has launched the LYRA: Green Industrial Future project, which will develop training initiatives to improve employment and the environment in the regions of Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia.

The activities, free of charge and co-funded by the European Social Fund, are focused on promoting cross-disciplinary knowledge of the circular economy and ecological transition in the industrial sector.

Description of activities

Actions to be executed:

  • Ecodesign course applied to the industrial sector using CAD3D tools.
  • Basic course and introduction to the "PASSIVHAUS" methodology
  • Hydrogen Technology Course. Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Storage Systems.
  • Digital and green industrial transformation. Circular economy and digitalization 4.0.
  • Renewable Energy Course. Solar Thermal Energy
  • Energy and City. Energy transition and sustainable construction.
  • Workshop: Implementing circular work models in companies. Presentation of success stories.
  • Workshop: Grants and financial support available to promote projects that promote the ecological transition.
  • Webinar: Grants and financial support available to promote projects that promote the ecological transition
  • Cross-cutting and/or personalized training in digital transformation and ecological transition
Objectives

The project's main objective is to serve as a lever to boost job creation and improvement in activities linked to the green economy. To achieve this, a series of courses are being offered to improve the skills and qualifications of active workers in sustainability issues.
