INTERREG-SUDOE Eva+ Project: Active green entrepreneurship: more economic opportunities and social inclusion in rural communities

The EVA+ project aims to leverage the multifunctional management of agroforestry areas and develop a collaborative and innovative approach to green entrepreneurship, encompassing vulnerable rural communities or those undergoing demographic and economic transition. Implemented in a region rich in natural resources, the project focuses on productive activities within the agroforestry sector to increase economic opportunities, improve the labor market, enhance job quality, and promote social inclusion. To achieve these objectives, the project will support knowledge transfer and develop entrepreneurial skills, as well as define strategies geared towards sustainability and innovation in rural economies.

The main actions include diagnosis, creation of micro-training courses, an advisory program, and a transnational strategic plan. The methodology includes the implementation of three Living Labs with stakeholders across the value chain. The pilot projects will provide insight into the interaction between individuals, rural communities, and green entrepreneurship, serving as living laboratories. EVA+ offers an innovative social approach through the development of pilot projects, the generation of supporting studies, and the transfer of knowledge about the Social Economy within the context of Green Jobs.
