Finca Mauro Biodiversity Foundation Project: training and employment in agroecology

Description

At the Finca Mauro Project, we align our objectives with those of the Spanish Climate Change and Clean Energy Strategy and the Circular Economy Strategy. We have developed a series of objectives and actions to address these challenges and issues, making our region a strategic area for the environment and water regulation.

The Huerta de Caravaca is made up of the basins of the tributaries of the Segura, Argos, and Quípar rivers. The municipality is home to numerous rich springs, some of great environmental importance, such as Las Fuentes del Marqués. Therefore, water resource management from the source plays a fundamental role in the agricultural development of the area and in our project.

Furthermore, we are committed to developing a green business model based on the sustainable use of Finca Mauro's land through agroecology. To achieve these objectives, three training activities and personalized advice will be provided.
