Biodiversity Foundation Project: (R)HUB Rural Rural Entrepreneurship Network Program

Description

The project aims to create sustainable businesses in depopulated Spain through mentored entrepreneurship pathways for training and creating green circular economy businesses. It is supported by the Empleaverde Program of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge and co-financed by the European Social Fund. The training program will be delivered using the Emprendeverde Labs format and is aimed at 20 participants from the province of Cáceres (Extremadura), to train them and provide them with the knowledge to promote the creation of green and circular businesses, as well as facilitate the regeneration of their territories and their populations.

Description of activities

The project includes the implementation of 8 actions:

  • 1 mixed training (40 hours distance learning and 40 hours in person).
  • 4 mixed counseling and support sessions (16 hours in person and 108 hours remotely).
  • 1 training stay (8 face-to-face hours).
  • 1 social innovation action (128 in-person hours and 304 remote hours).
  • 1 meeting (8 hours in person).
