Biodiversity Foundation Project: READER CREA

The project's priority is job creation and professional training for unemployed people (a total of at least 120 beneficiaries) within the Natura 2000 Network and the Biosphere Reserves of Asturias and the neighboring León Biosphere Reserve (Alto Bernesga Biosphere Reserve).

The aim is to harness the employment potential in protected areas covered by the Habitats Directive and UNESCO to train and create jobs in the use of endogenous resources: livestock, agriculture, and sustainable forest management, training and employment that make parks and areas of high ecological value compatible with quality employment that enhances local products.

The READER CREA project consists of a total of 8 Blended Training Courses, 2 Face-to-Face Training Courses (7 in Asturias and 2 in León), all of them with professional qualifications.
