Description

Promoting employability in sustainable tourism through training in endogenous agricultural, forestry, environmental, geological, and gastronomic resources in the Canary Islands, Madrid, and Castilla-La Mancha.

The project aims to train the unemployed in innovative aspects of natural resources that can improve their chances of finding employment. This project can be developed in conjunction with rural and natural spaces through companies with a sustainability framework. Social initiatives, experience sharing, and the establishment of synergies within the regions are proposed. The goal is to provide recipients with an inventory of resources, propose actions for their use, and provide specialized training. Mixed training activities are planned. The goal is to facilitate access to formal training that will allow them to obtain Professional Certificates in the future. It includes social innovation initiatives that catalyze social change, participatory workshops for exchange and sharing, allowing the beneficiaries themselves to launch pilot projects in sustainable tourism activities, assess the results obtained, and propose new initiatives.

Objectives

The project's objective is to promote quality employment for its beneficiaries through sustainable economic development utilizing the native natural resources of the Canary Islands, Madrid, and Castilla-La Mancha.
