Biodiversity Foundation Project: Livestock, development, and conservation in the Pyrenees

Description

This project aims to improve social acceptance of the species, particularly among livestock professionals, by reducing attacks on livestock through proper herd and pasture management, as well as by engaging society in activities that contribute to enhancing and reconciling livestock farming, tourism, and the conservation of mountain ecosystems.

The Fondo Natural Association, in collaboration with the Biodiversity Foundation, will strengthen herd monitoring and management by installing the necessary resources and infrastructure. It will also work to promote the project with educational and outreach activities on the benefits of conservation and the coexistence of livestock, tourism, and biodiversity.

Objectives

Improve social acceptance of the species, especially among livestock professionals, by reducing attacks on livestock through proper herd and pasture management, as well as involving society in activities that contribute to enhancing and reconciling livestock farming, tourism, and the conservation of mountain ecosystems.
