Biodiversity Foundation Project: Ecologically based entrepreneurship in rural areas and protected natural spaces

Description

The training program seeks to create six new businesses in the autonomous communities of Andalusia and Castilla-La Mancha. The project, which will have 60 participants, is a training program supported by the Empleaverde Program of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge and co-financed by the European Social Fund. GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION: Jaén, Albacete, Cuenca, and Toledo. TARGETED AT Entrepreneurs interested in creating sustainable businesses in depopulated municipalities.

Description of activities

The project consists of 28 training and advisory actions in the Emprendeverde Labs format: 6 in-person training sessions of 20 hours; 6 mixed training sessions consisting of 80 in-person hours and 20 hours online; 5 individual in-person consultations and support sessions of 8 hours; 5 in-person group consultations and support sessions of 15 hours; 6 in-person social innovation actions for virtual simulation of eco-enterprises of 10 hours; and 2 consultations and mentoring sessions of 8 hours. The training actions aim to boost and promote entrepreneurship based on the green economy, as well as facilitate the regeneration of territories and their populations.
