Biodiversity Foundation Project: EcoForma

Description

Employment is one of the major challenges facing our society, along with reducing pollution and improving the impact of human activity on the natural environment, requiring a transformation of economic systems. The Spanish Employment Activation Strategy indicates that the activities that have withstood the crisis and show growth prospects include agri-food and ecotourism. In this sense, this project complements existing public policies in Cuenca and Málaga by offering resources to improve employability, especially for those with greater difficulties, through the valorization and preservation of natural and cultural heritage. To this end, training activities will be carried out in the environmental, tourism, agricultural, and mobility sectors, accompanied by skills improvement initiatives and increased exposure to professional experience in an environment that promotes a greener and more social economy.

Objectives

The project's objective is to promote the creation of green-economy jobs for unemployed people in Málaga municipalities with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants, and especially those with fewer than 20,000, through training and social innovation.
