Biodiversity Foundation Project: Aquaponic Systems. For Green and Blue Employment

Description

This project is based on developing specialized courses in aquaponic techniques with the aim of training a new generation of professionals in the field of aquaponics, ready to work from the very beginning. Among the most relevant aspects of this training is that it will provide instruction in both the most traditional and established techniques, as well as in the new trends and horizons contemplated in the sector. Furthermore, one of the pillars on which the professionalism of those taking the course will be based will be their commitment to the values of the green (and blue) and circular economy.

Finally, a cross-cutting effort will also be made to instill in participants the entrepreneurial and business spirit, along lines of responsibility toward nature, so necessary for the sustainable future of our planet.

Objectives

The project's goal is to maintain the momentum in the Spanish aquaponics sector fostered by the first edition of this initiative, training a new generation of workers with the most advanced knowledge and techniques.
