DESCRIPTION: AgroEcoCualifica aims to improve the skills and qualifications of farmers, processing company technicians, and sector workers through training in agroecological practices, promote innovation in agroecological production systems by establishing networks of social promoters, and foster the growth of organic farmers. Organic production in Spain is a sector in constant evolution and consolidation. We are the leading European producer and the fifth largest worldwide. Within organic production, there are some sectors that have either experienced significant development in recent years or have evolved, requiring qualified personnel to support them. The regional governments where the project is being implemented have been chosen because they are leaders in the areas covered.
The objective of the Agroecocualifica project: Improving Agroecology Skills is to improve the professional qualifications of organic production workers in developing sectors and/or those that require additional training due to the sector's development.
