Biodiversity Foundation Pro Climate Project: training climate professionals

The social challenges resulting from climate change represent a great opportunity to invest in the green economy. We are faced with an urgent opportunity to incorporate these social response needs into any workplace. This is what ProClima seeks: to train unemployed people in Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, and Extremadura to acquire differentiating skills that ensure, on the one hand, quality employment, and on the other, meet social and environmental needs and emergencies through their professional training. Linking with climate and biodiversity conservation strategies and policies: ProClima relies on the climate policies, strategies, and action plans of the target regions, as well as on the preservation and enhancement of the Natura 2000 Network.
