At UPTA, we are developing the project "Promoting green entrepreneurship and the creation of green jobs in areas at risk of depopulation," approved within the framework of the employsverde program of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and co-financed by the European Social Fund. The project targets: Unemployed individuals duly registered as job seekers with the corresponding public service and who wish to start a business. Workers (employed and self-employed) who wish to launch a new business initiative. The project involves implementing various social innovation initiatives in different regions, as indicated below: Development of the Social Economy and Self-Employment in Rural Areas. In Castilla y León, Madrid, and Andalusia. Workshop on street vending, job searches, and the creation of a network of local markets and their impact. In Castilla y León, Castilla la Mancha, and Andalusia.
The project's main objective is to promote green entrepreneurship and the creation of green jobs through social innovation to alleviate rural depopulation, identify needs in each region, and seek the necessary solutions to boost its economy, while respecting the rural environment and sustainable development.
