Description

Free training project to improve performance in new business creation, take the initiative to create value within the company you are part of, and discover the latest in innovation and the circular economy to be more proactive in generating new ideas and opportunities. To achieve this, cutting-edge methods for the design and creation of businesses based on the Circular Economy will be used, with the aim of offering a set of concepts, experiences, and practical tools that will enhance participants' knowledge and skills.

Green Smart Up is aimed at both employed and unemployed individuals and aims to improve the skills of entrepreneurs in creating green business models through Circular Economy tools (232 hours) and knowledge exchange with other EU stakeholders. A selection of the top four participants will enjoy a stay in Rennes, France, at RETIS , the leading eco-innovation institution.

Description of activities

Two editions of this project will be held simultaneously, one in Murcia and the second in Cadiz :

  • Block 1. 28-hour in-person training on green business models, the circular economy, and business project implementation. Each student will then develop a business case for a green business idea through 204 hours of online training tutored by experts.
  • Block 2. EMPRENDE EUROPA: once the mixed training has finished, the students from the Murcia and Cádiz editions will present their business project, from which the four best will be selected, who will participate in the 4-day stay at RETIS (France) .
  • Block 3. GREEN UP WEEKEND, an intense weekend open to all interested parties, where entrepreneurs will connect with investors and business leaders, guided by specialized mentors and coaches. The project is supported by the INSTITUTE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION OF MURCIA.
