Description
Applying innovative technologies to combat the threats that are deteriorating the dehesa ecosystem and compromising the profitability of extensive livestock farming, such as pests and diseases, and extreme weather conditions.
Contextual description
In a climatic, health and productive context like the current one, the dehesa faces a serious process of degradation that affects two of the fundamental pillars of this system, namely the herbaceous and arboreal strata, which seriously endanger its economic, social and environmental sustainability.
Results
Establishment of a demonstration plot for regeneration techniques for the dehesa.
